I guess this means that 22% of American voters have absolutely no idea of what it takes, in the way of intelligence and personal attributes, to be an effective President of this country. That is scary.

What's really scary is 22% also supported GW Bush when he left office. Also the illiteracy rate in the US is around 21%. Just a coincidence????

Yep, and it's the same percentage that still believes that the Sun revolves around the Earth -- the anti-science republicans!

by Cattzen October 7, 2010 2:22 PM EDT but, can she dance? America needs to vote! ************************************** This is an Unbelievable Fact in America. More Americans vote in the 'American Idol' TV show than in the General Election every 4 years. SHAME ON DEMOCRACY!

Palin is becoming the "Sanjaya" of the next Presidential Election.

suncat13, Why not blame American Parents and not private and public schools since parents are TOOO busy having a Successful Career instead of a Successful family with ambitious children such as the Orientals. Since Americans have the Highest Divorce Rate in the World, American Parents are also too busy fighting each others in front of their Children. Unfortunately, the new Parents in America today are the Video Games, TV and this Computer/Laptop.

Please try to give us proof of your faux nonooz political rhetoric, since that's just delusional!

You're right delusion, I didn't read the bill... The problem is that neither did the Democrats that voted for it!!! =============================================================================================== 2000 plus pages of regulations, denial of the true causes of the recession and dividing the nation between rich and poor are not good for this country!!! And you try to disparage Sarah Palin's intelligence?
by delusionteabaggers October 7, 2010 3:06 PM EDT
OK jay, we now know you and the rest of the republicans did not read the bill, nor any bill for that matter, but where's your proof that the Dems in Congress didn't read the bill? Did glenn beck tell you that too? You're just too easy, and fall for all the GOP partisan propaganda!
by jayrh October 7, 2010 3:50 PM EDT
Where's my proof delusions??? You're kidding right? I mean, I heard congressmen and senators having to admit that they hadn't read these bills with my own ears... Where ever you get your news, maybe you need to go somewhere else... It seems as though you don't have a very good grasp of current events...
by YourRearViewMirror1 October 7, 2010 2:18 PM EDT
PERFECT GUESS. 3 weeks ago, I wrote that the same 21% of Americans whom believe GW Bush was the Greatest U.S. President every would love Sarah Palin even more. I wonder who is the 1% (22% - 21%)?

Wow! 22% think she will be an effective President! Our public schools really are failing!!! Wait, I take that back. A higher percentage thought that Bush would be an effective President and he was voted in twice. Perhaps our school are actually improving...

by jayrh October 7, 2010 2:03 PM EDT----"Heath care? The bill that was passed will raise premiums" ######################################################################################################################################################## Since premiums by the insurance industry were raised 150% during the bush years, I guess you should be used to it then, and have lots of vaseline stock! While I'm not a fan of the insurance industry that uses their high overhead costs to raise premiums, at least we'll get something out of it now: like another 32 million Americans with health care, no denials for pre-existing conditions, no dropping of coverage due to illness, and "maybe" even a healthier nation and less fraud in Medicare/Medicaid.

The health care bill will cause costs to go up and services to go down... Everything that conservatives were trying to tell us turned out to be true... Obama flat out lied repeatedly about it... Perhaps you missed that little fact?
by delusionteabaggers October 7, 2010 2:23 PM EDT
Hey jay, predictions and opinions are just like butttholes -- everyone has one and they all stink! YOU have no proof -- just partisan opinions!
by October 7, 2010 2:10 PM EDT
How did she get 22%??????? Must be the fringe Tea Party types running the failed Party. Let's not forget how George W. let this country run with no control and destroyed our economy. The GOP and it free market place idea will bring our entire economy down over health care. Big Pharma owns everything including our Doctors. we need a democratic congress to get it done but the lobbyist with the deepest of pockets(Big Pharma)will unfortunately prevail. posted by baileyccc

Fear and hatred are not the same thing... Laughed at, under Obama, is completely different too though...
by delusionteabaggers October 7, 2010 2:16 PM EDT
The bush fearmongering worked on the American people more than anyone!
by jayrh October 7, 2010 2:23 PM EDT
fearmongering? Radical Islam declared war on the West many years ago... It's still going on too, despite Obama telling us that the war on terror is over... As a matter of fact, every major Muslim group in this country is member of the Muslim Brotherhood... Obama would help these radical groups though... Yeah, that's different than fearmongering, for sure...
by USA_is_back October 7, 2010 2:28 PM EDT
the fearmongering worked on jayrh. He's one of the uneducated the RNC brags about being able to control through fear. Do you like the fact that they laugh at you jay??
by jayrh October 7, 2010 3:55 PM EDT
USA_is_back, after 9/11, I started studying the motivations of radical Islamics... It really go to me, watching people jump out of the World Trade Center... Most of what I learned wasn't from Bush... Some of it was from anti-terrorist authors and then a large part was from Islamic sources, i.e. Qur'an, biographies of Muhammad, religous and Muslim Brotherhood writings... I almost certainly know 10 times more about the subject than you do... You're welcome to try and debate me on this though...
